Exit Protocol is a dead man's switch for the things your loved ones would otherwise lose: passwords, accounts, final letters, instructions, files. Check in now and then to show you're okay. If you stop — whether through death, serious illness, or anything else that takes you away — your vault is delivered to the people you chose. Automatically, securely, exactly as you planned.
Free to start · Nothing readable ever leaves your device
You set it up once and check in occasionally. Exit Protocol quietly handles the rest.
Put passwords, account logins, letters and files into your vault. Everything is sealed on your own device before it goes anywhere, like closing an envelope before you mail it.
Pick who should receive each vault: a partner, family, a lawyer. They get nothing today, and can't peek early. You can change your mind anytime.
On a schedule you set (monthly, quarterly, whatever fits), confirm you're okay with a single click. That's the whole job.
We remind you. Then we warn you. Only after every chance has passed does your vault travel, straight to your chosen people and no one else.
Missing one check-in does nothing dramatic. The switch moves slowly and loudly through stages that are days apart, and a single click anywhere along the way resets everything.
One click of I'm okayat any stage sends it all the way back to the start.
Weekly, monthly, or yearly, plus how many days of grace you want at every stage.
Going off-grid on purpose? Pause the switch and resume when you're back.
Every reminder, check-in and state change lands in an audit log you can review.
Because only you can open your vault, only you can lose it. Forget your master password and not even we can bring it back. That is the price of a lock no one else holds a key to.
Your vault is locked on your phone or computer using your master password. What travels to our servers is an unreadable sealed box. We store it, we guard it, we can't open it.
There's no master key, no admin override, no "forgot password" backdoor. Even if someone broke into our servers, all they'd find is scrambled data with no way to unscramble it.
When delivery happens, each person gets a personal one-time link, then a code sent to their email. Their copy unlocks on their own device, never on our servers.
Add or remove recipients whenever you like. Pause or switch the whole thing off. Test the delivery on yourself first to see exactly what your people would see.
Argon2id, AES-256-GCM, split-key escrow: every claim above, proven in detail.
Store everything and rehearse the delivery for free, for as long as you like. When you're ready to name the people who should receive it all, it's one flat yearly price — less than a takeaway.
Prices localised at checkout. If your subscription ever lapses, your vault stays yours and stays encrypted — only delivery to recipients switches off until you renew.
Setting up your vault takes about five minutes. Keeping it alive takes one click, every so often.
